LIBYES -
Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9th 2026

LIBYES – Libya Energy Show (24–26 November 2026, Libya) is organised by ACG-North Africa ("we", "us", "the Organiser"). This policy explains how we handle information collected in connection with the Event, including through our LinkedIn advertising and registration forms.

What we collect

When you register your interest or sign up as a visitor, exhibitor, or delegate, we may receive the details you choose to provide — typically your name, work email, phone number, company name, job title, and country. If you attend in person, we may also record your check-in and the sessions you attend.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send any through our forms.

Why we use it

We use your information to process your registration, communicate with you about the Event (confirmation, agenda, logistics, changes), manage attendance and badging on site, and inform you about future editions of LIBYES and our other exhibitions. We do not sell your data.

Sharing

We may share your details with service providers who help us deliver the Event — for example registration, marketing, email, CRM, and hosting providers — solely so they can perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law or by the competent authorities in the host country.

We do not pass your contact details to exhibitors, sponsors, or other participants unless you expressly opt in during registration, or by presenting or scanning your badge at their stand.

If you registered through LinkedIn, your submission is also handled by LinkedIn under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

Photography and filming

The Event is photographed, filmed, and recorded for documentation and promotional purposes, and attendees may appear in that material. If you would prefer not to be featured, please inform a member of the organising team on site and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How long we keep it

We keep registration data only as long as needed to deliver the Event and maintain our records of it, after which we delete or anonymise it.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [privacy@acg-itf.com]. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
